(RTTNews) – French affiliated company, Danone S.A. (DANOY), is recalling So Delicious Dairy Free Salted Caramel Cluster Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert pints in the U.S. because the product may contain foreign materials, including small stones and other hard objects, posing a potential safety hazard.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the issue was identified through consumer complaints. However, no injuries or illnesses were reported in the announcement.
The recall covers the frozen dessert packaged in pint containers with best-by dates on and before April 3, 2028.
The affected product could be identified with SKU 136603 and UPC 744473476138. The recalled products were distributed to retail stores across the U.S.
The company is working with retailers to remove the affected products from shelves.
No other So Delicious Dairy Free codes, flavors, or products were affected.
The company insisted that consumers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it. They can contact So Delicious Dairy Free Consumer Care for a replacement coupon or refund.
In early March 2025, Beaumont, Texas -based D.J.’s Boudain, LLC had recalled around 17,720 pounds of boudain sausage link products, citing possible contamination with foreign materials, specifically pieces of a pen, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
